Social and Entertainment Facilities

The facilities and infrastructure of The Club have been enhanced significantly over the last few years to both benefit the existing Club Members and to attract new Members and Guests to The Club.

The prime focus of The Club is to provide a central point for community based activities and interaction; as a result, the main facilities fall into one of two categories – Social and Entertainment Facilities and Sports Facilities; The Club also provides certain other additional facilities for the benefit of the Members both as individuals and as groups.

The Club’s facilities can be detailed as follows:

A relaxed, smoking/ non-smoking lounge where Members can relax and discuss the issues of the day with fellow Members or watch one of the three big screen TVs which show news and sport from around the world, all whilst enjoying a favorite beverage

Opening Hours are:

Sunday to Wednesday

6pm – 11pm

Thursday to Saturday

11am – 3pm and 6pm – 11.30pm

The Family Room is located at the end of the verandah and provides an area within The Club where families can enjoy relaxed surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of other Club activities, particularly for families with young children; the Family Room is equipped with comfortable seating and wall mounted TVs, food and refreshments can be delivered on order.

A multi-purpose hall that is primarily used for sports (principally badminton, but also the larger / high profile indoor games events), the entertainment shows that are held indoors using the in-built stage area and the indoor hospitality functions / dinners; the Hall’s capacity for a stage show / event is approximately 500, the capacity for a hospitality function / dinner being around 300; it can also be used for large-scale meetings or conferences; the Sanskar Hall was inaugurated by HE Balkrishna Shetty, Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, in February 2007.

A multi-purpose hard-court area that is primarily used for sports (tennis, football, cricket, hockey, volleyball, family games), the entertainment shows that are held outdoors using a purpose built stage and the outdoor hospitality functions / dinners; the Hard-Court Area’s capacity for a stage show / event is approximately 2,000, the capacity for a hospitality function / dinner being around 1,000.
